Passenger car and truck competence
Ludwigsburg, 30th July 2012 – The new air filter system from MANN+HUMMEL consists of just three components: a housing, a cover and a MANN-FILTER element. The key feature of this system assists the mechanic: to change the filter element, he simply loosens 2 (!) screws. Flap open, air filter out, new MANN-FILTER in, flap shut – finished! Servicing is fast, clean and simple, with the MANN-FILTER always sliding into the correct position through the precise shape of the housing.
This radial sealing system is currently produced by filtration specialist MANN+HUMMEL for the 1.2 and 1.4 litre TSI engines fitted in the VW Golf and VW Polo. Under the MANN-FILTER brand customers in the independent aftermarket benefit from this innovation which is of course in OE quality.
A highlight in the truck sector is the comprehensive range of urea filters from MANN-FILTER, with the new U 630 x taking centre stage. No screw threads or screws are required here. It is firmly attached through a push-fit connection and it is easy to replace. Service intervals are as specified by the vehicle manufacturer. MANN+HUMMEL supplies filter elements under the MANN-FILTER brand name for all current vehicle types with SCR systems.
Competence with trucks, demonstrated by this range of urea filters, is an integral part of every MANN-FILTER supplied for commercial vehicle applications. Further examples of this competence will be presented at Automechanika.
The work of 800 R+D personnel within the MANN+HUMMEL Group maintains the OE quality of the MANN-FILTER product portfolio.
