MANN-FILTER starts the countdown to the ADAC GT Masters season opener
MANN-FILTER will kick-off its 2021 ADAC GT Masters campaign on May 15th. After two successful days of testing, the Mamba drivers of the premium filter brand are fully ready for the kickoff at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

Ludwigsburg, May 10, 2021 – The new motorsport year starts for MANN-FILTER on the weekend after Ascension Day. The ADAC GT Masters season is getting underway, and the premium filter brand is sending two fast "Mambas" to the race to battle for the podium.
Traditionally, the season opener of the ADAC GT Masters is held at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in the Magdeburg Börde. The 3.667-kilometer circuit poses various challenges. Even for professional drivers, the winding track with its narrow points makes it difficult to find suitable places to pass. The main focus of the drivers will be on the qualifying session and on rapidly switching drivers. Quick lap times form the basis for two successful races.
Concentrated MANN-FILTER team power
To prepare for the season in the best possible way, the two race drivers on MANN-FILTER Team LANDGRAF-HTP/WWR, Raffaele Marciello (26, Switzerland) and Maximilian Buhk (28, Germany), faced their first days of testing in the Mercedes Mamba at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in mid-April.
MANN-FILTER Audi
MANN-FILTER junior Luci Trefz (19, Germany), a new Audi Mamba driver since ascending to the GT3 rankings, was impressive with his first solid results in an official pretest. Together with his teammate, Audi Sport driver Christopher Haase (34, Germany), he placed among the top 10. The up-and-coming 19-year-old driver is seeking a spot on the podium in the junior classification this year and is taking the opportunity to familiarize himself with the Audi R8 LMS GT3, Team MONTAPLAST by Land-Motorsport, and the GT3 atmosphere.
Season opener in pandemic times
Due to the current coronavirus situation, the season opener will be held without any spectators. Both races will be broadcast by the new TV partner of the ADAC GT Masters, the RTL sports channel Nitro. In addition, MANN-FILTER will be reporting on all the events of the race weekend in Oschersleben on its own social media channels.
The premium filter brand is bringing variety to the field with two fast MANN-FILTER cars in the traditional yellow and green colors. All Mamba drivers are fully prepared and pumped to get started in the first two one-hour races. With "Attack!" as their battle cry, they will go far.
The season will get underway on Saturday, May 15, 2021, with the famous words: "Drivers, start your engines!"
