The new MANN-FILTER catalogues have arrived: featuring new products in 14 languages

With the start of the year, the time has again come for MANN-FILTER to send out its 2014/15 printed catalogues hot off the press in Ludwigsburg to customers throughout Germany and Europe. The products, which are suitable for more than 39,000 vehicles and machines, including over 230 new filter types, are listed in a user-friendly manner. The new catalogues are now also available on CD ROM, online under www.mann-filter.com and through the MANN-FILTER app.

The current MANN-FILTER catalogue set

The filtration specialist is delivering the famous green and yellow catalogue set to customers all over Germany and Europe. Production of the new MANN-FILTER catalogues involved a great deal of effort again this year, with the Ludwigsburg-based company having a total of almost 118 million pages printed on recycled paper. Spread out side by side, the pages would cover some 1,000 football pitches.

Comprehensive guide with cross-referencing
In total, the new catalogue set comprises 2,700 pages. For ease of reference, it is divided into several individual volumes. Depending on the area of application, new filter catalogues are available for the “Passenger vehicles and transporters”, “Trucks and buses” and “Off-highway applications and industry“ segments. Here, specialists from the trade and workshops can quickly find the right air, oil, fuel and cabin filters. The 2013/14 volumes for the areas of “Motorcycles” and “Ships and boats” remain valid in their present form. The new edition also includes an 820 page “Comparison list” containing more than 145,000 cross references. Here, users can find the relevant MANN FILTER product based on the manufacturer’s original part number or competitor item number.

The right filter for almost any vehicle
In the industry, the green and yellow catalogue represents one of the most important lists of filters because with a market coverage of just under 97 percent in Europe, the MANN-FILTER range offers the suitable original equipment quality filter for virtually any passenger vehicle or transporter. The current catalogue thus contains more than 4,300 filter elements to suit 11,500 passenger vehicles and transporters, 8,200 trucks and buses, 1,100 motorcycles and more than 18,500 applications for off-highway vehicles and industry. In total, the listed MANN-FILTER products are used in more than 39,000 vehicles and machines. The current printed edition includes over 230 new filter types. A popular alternative is the continuously updated online catalogue available at www.mann-filter.com, featuring animated illustrations of selected products.

Clearly designed for international use
From Arabic through to Greek and Polish: for international use, the catalogue contains introductory chapters in 14 different languages, including explanations for users. The list in the main section is clearly structured. An alphabetical index, easy-to-understand symbols and concise tables quickly and conveniently lead the user to the right filter and the corresponding product description.

"Even in the digital age, we continue to offer our customers the comprehensive printed edition of our established MANN-FILTER catalogues. This is appreciated by many customers, both at home and abroad.” explains Jörg Engels, Head of MANN-FILTER brand communication. Workshops and dealerships can obtain the new catalogues and CD-ROM free-of-charge from an authorised MANN-FILTER dealer or directly from MANN+HUMMEL:
