MANN+HUMMEL: New subsidiary in Dubai

The filtration specialist MANN+HUMMEL has established its first subsidiary in the Orient with premises in the Dubai free trade zone (DAFZA). The MANN+HUMMEL Middle East FZE under the management of Susan Falah will now directly deliver MANN-FILTER branded products mainly produced in Germany to customers in the Middle East.


Ludwigsburg/Dubai, 16th April 2012 - The filtration specialist MANN+HUMMEL has founded a new subsidiary company in Dubai. The task of MANN+HUMMEL Middle East FZE will be to supply customers in the Middle East directly with MANN-FILTER branded products mainly produced in Germany from a storage facility in the Jebel Ali free trade zone. Customers will benefit from the new company through simpler invoicing and payment procedures and quicker order processing times. "Now we will be able to sell directly to customers. Customers will receive support and the goods from one source. In the Arab world direct transactions and direct contacts are very important parts of customer orientation", explains Managing Director Susan Falah. Falah, originally from Iran, previously managed the MANN+HUMMEL representative office which has existed in Dubai since 2007. She also took on responsibility for the preparations necessary for the founding of the new subsidiary. Since the 1960s MANN+HUMMEL has been supplying air filters, oil filters, fuel filters and later also cabin filters of the independent aftermarket brand MANN-FILTER through wholesalers and partners in the region.
