Success across the board: MANN-FILTER impresses at the Nürburgring Truck Grand Prix
At the season highlight of the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship, MANN-FILTER and the tankpool24-Racing Team not only celebrated successes on the track, but also impressed customers and interested parties off the track.
Ludwigsburg, July 15, 2024 – Germany’s largest truck event once again attracted numerous HGV aficionados to Nürburgring. Over 130,000 spectators did not want to miss the high horsepower spectacle. MANN-FILTER used the atmosphere to bring customers up close to the action and showcase its own product portfolio in action. Tech talks and behind-the-scenes tours were on the agenda at the weekend, as were four exciting races.

MANN-FILTER celebrates podium successes with Steffen Faas
With the striking MANN-FILTER colors yellow and green on the rear, the tankpool24-Racing Team’s Scania racing truck was a real eye-catcher at the weekend. Fans of all ages quickly recognized the striking brand colors of the truck thundering down the track this weekend with just under 1,200 hp.
Steffen Faas (40, Germany), in his dual role as driver and team principal at truck racing events, impressed with a convincing performance: The experienced pilot made the Chrome ranking podium several times this weekend. And even though it was not enough to take the lead in the Chrome ranking, the 40-year-old scored important points in the battle for the title and also enjoyed the spectacle off the track.

At the MANN-FILTER Tech Talks, Faas and his experienced team explained details of the racing process and the use of MANN-FILTER air dryer cartridges, which are exposed to the toughest conditions during races, to filter customers.
Those strolling through the paddock at the weekend could hardly miss MANN-FILTER Hospitality either: yellow and green, it stood out from the rest of the paddock and invited people to hang around and soak up the atmosphere. International customers from all over Europe were warmly welcomed here and received valuable insights not only behind the scenes of racing, but also technical insights into the filtration brand’s product range and the world of racing. The world’s largest manufacturer of air dryer cartridges, MANN+HUMMEL – with a portfolio including premium brand MANN-FILTER – encouraged discussions in various workshops and technical talks and facilitated gripping conversations on the topic of filtration, air dryer cartridges and precision in racing in a relaxed atmosphere. The well-rounded agenda, with guided pit lane tours and chats with racing drivers and the team, was a complete success for MANN-FILTER.

Summer break for the snappy MANN-FILTER truck
With the season highlight at the Nürburgring, the FIA European Truck Racing Championship says goodbye for the summer break. For MANN-FILTER and Steffen Faas the next race weekend will take place in Most in Czechia at the end of August, before the anticipated semi-final in France. An opportunity to catch their breath and gather their strength before it's time to head back onto the starting grid and say: "Look out, snappy truck!"
