24h Spa: MANN-FILTER sets on powerful driver trio

Ludwigsburg, June 18, 2025 – The historic circuit in the Belgian Ardennes is one of the most demanding race tracks in the world. Over 70 GT3 cars will be battling around the clock for every tenth of a second on the last weekend in June – a spectacle that thrills motorsport fans worldwide and presents drivers and teams with extreme challenges. 

Experience and precision in the cockpit of starting number 48

Three absolute top drivers share the wheel of the MANN-FILTER Mercedes-AMG GT3: Lucas Auer (30, Austria), Maro Engel (39, Germany) and Matteo Cairoli (29, Italy) will pool their many years of experience from the DTM, GT World Challenge, and endurance sports. Together, they combine not only speed and precision, but also a deep understanding of strategy, vehicle balance, and teamwork – all key components for a successful 24-hour race.

The race in Spa is not only a special challenge for the drivers, but also for the entire WINWARD Racing Team MANN-FILTER. Mechanics, engineers, team managers, and everyone involved will not get a wink of sleep for 24 hours. Routine, reliability, and top performance are what counts.
