Our Anti-Counterfeit Feature uses the secure graphic technology from ScanTrust.
ScanTrust developed the world's first Copy-Proof serialized QR codes.
The ScanTrust Secure QR Code consists of a Secure Graphic and a QR code. Any attempt to copy the original code results in a loss of information. Only a print of the original digital file is recognized as authentic.
This makes it a secure and copy-protected solution.
Step-by-step instruction for the product authentification
Is it an original?
Don’t worry — we’re here to help. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to verify whether the product in your hands is an original. Let’s get started with the authentication steps:
Step 1
Check if the MANN-FILTER packaging includes a printed Secure QR code.
You’ll find it in the white area near the bottom of the packaging.
Step 2
Scan the QR code using your smartphone camera and follow the link.
You’ll be directed to the specific product detail page in the MANN-FILTER Online Catalog at mann-filter.com.
Step 3
On the product detail page, scroll down a bit and click the “Check Authenticity” button. You can easily find it below the product description, marked with the icon shown here - magnifying glass with checkmark.
A pop-up will appear with a short video explaining how to correctly photograph the inner Secure code.
Once you’ve watched the video and understood the instructions, proceed with taking the photo (see step 4).

Step 4
Your camera will open. Take a clear photo of the Secure code.
If the photo is of good quality, use the photo. The image will be analyzed, and you'll either receive the result (see table below) or be prompted to take a better photo.
Tips for a successful photo:
- Ensure the code is large, sharp, and clearly visible.
- Zoom in to capture the code clearly.
- Use good lighting — turn on the flash if needed.
- Avoid glare, shadows, or blur.
